A Grade Jade Pendant (jadeite)

Material		A Grade Jade (Jadeite) This is the Gemological term for Jade.
Colour		Translucent. Blue Green
Grade		Natural (A) Grade Jade			Now here the carving show up not too badly even with me taking the photo. However in real life it's still better. This photo was taken on my new photo stand, the pendant was placed on glass about 4" above a snow white background. The daylight lamps where reflecting of the background so the stone looks a little lighter, but the appearance will be much the same worn against a white piece of clothing. So what can I say about this one, Ok you have to remember here that the photo you are seeing is 4 to 6 times enlarged so it's like looking at the pendant with a good magnifying glass. With the naked eye the streaks of colour are barely visible & blend in to one overall colour. This too is the same with the natural fractures that you can see near the bottom of the photo's. These are reflected in the price with out them the price would be very much increased & they don't take away any of the natural beauty of this carving. Just as a pointer no one ever sends a carving back this is because they are always so much better than I can show you in the photo.
