Will I have to pay import duty or local Tax?

Well maybe but it depends a lot on how the item is shipped. If you require the item to be shipped quickly by Fed ex or EMS then it's more likely to attract the attention of your local customs people therefore you are more likely to pay duty. If however it is a relatively cheap item say under $400.00 USD and you can wait the 10 days or so for it to arrive by Express Registered Air Mail then it's most unlikely to raze any unwarranted attention from your local customs. However I can not make any guarantees about this and it's your responsibility to pay this tax. What I can say is this that I have only ever had one person contact me and tell me that they had to pay import duty. This was an expensive bangle shipped by EMS.
