This is some of the boy's and girls
working on some cheap Jade carvings.
These are off cuts of rough Jade. They
shine & you can clearly see the colour because they are dipped in a cheap
lacquer.
This is me examining millions of US$ worth
of rough jade in my suppliers stock room. This is somewhere in the depths
of up country China. Wouldn't my competitors like to know where.
When the stone is like this you have to wet it to see the colour at all.
